Dance Project by Nyanyian Bumi

Three dimensions of bodies, based on myth “Sureq Galigo”

This project talks about three dimensions of bodies. A. Tubuh Manusia (Human Body), B. Tubuh Kota (City Body), C. Tubuh Bumi (Body of the Earth), Presented by “Nyanyian Bumi”, a new collective project with artists, Aco Ridwan (Indonesia), Pei Ern (Malaysia) and a dancer Atsushi Heki (Japan), sharing each different background and culture.

Source of inspiration of this work is “Sureq Galigo”. An epic creation myth of the Bugis from South Sulawesi evolved through oral tradition which is sung on important occasions.
